Comic Con Wrap Up
So this last week was my 17th year attending and displaying my art at Comic-Con International in San Diego. This was my first year with my own booth, as previous years I hung my hat proudly in the Artist's Alley and was able to hang with my friends. These days I just have to much product and art to make that work, so I went for a booth, and was great! I had a killer spot right by the front doors, and my IronClad painting/flag montage greeted thousands of fans daily, and was the subject of many a photo. It was great to see the annual friends and fans I have come to know over the years, and I met some new ones as well. This year the Charity Auction was cancelled, which was very disappointing, as me and my Studio Scarab compatriots had been a mainstay for a decade and a half. I got to briefly meet a favorite actor of mine Thomas Jane (Punisher, Deep Blue Sea, Hung), and met some other great artist's as well such as fellow Coloradan J. Scott Campbell, whose work I had admired for years. Here's a shot of my booth, feel free to drop me a line about your experience and or photos.
